Physical Therapist (PT) - Join Our In-House Rehab Team with a $10K Sign-On Bonus!

We offer a flexible schedule with full-time or PRN positions available.

Position Summary

The PT provides direct physical therapy rehab care to patients upon physician referral, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT; MSPT or DPT required for 2003 or later graduates)
• Currently registered/licensed in the applicable State, with an active license in good standing
• Preferred: One (1) year experience in post-acute care or related setting
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current

Specific Job Requirements

• Participate in community health projects as appropriate
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
• Coordinate with patients, families, and support departments to plan patient needs
• Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
• Make independent decisions when necessary
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures relevant to post-acute care
• Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, and policies
• Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality
• Adhere to company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
• Complete mandatory compliance training

Essential Functions

• Follow treatment plans for patients
• Establish, assess, and modify goals
• Oversee and evaluate care provided by PTAs, rehab aides, and students
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Use therapy software accurately
• Provide excellent customer service
• Assist in patient evacuation when needed
• Maintain dependable attendance
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, lifting, and walking
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
