Qualifications

• Must have NYS Physical Therapist license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with electronic documentation; Sigma/Rehab Optima a plus.
• New graduates with clinical acute or long-term care experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological and general medical conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with rehab/interdisciplinary team.
• Complete written documentation and participate in team meetings.
• Provide patient and caregiver education.

Immediate contract opportunity for Physical Therapist (PT) with our facility in Riverhead, NY.

Pay Rate: $60/hr

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm or 9:30am- 5:30pm
• Flexible Schedule Available

Contract Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: 2 to 3 months (with possible extension and/or contract to hire opportunity)

• Monitor patient response to treatment and collaborate with members of the rehab/interdisciplinary team

• Will consider new graduates with clinical experience in acute or long-term care
