Job summary

NHC HomeCare Sparta is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team. The PT will supervise and implement physical therapy techniques to help patients recover from injuries or diseases at home.

This role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employment, with part-time options of three days per week. The ideal candidate holds a BS or MS in Physical Therapy, is licensed in the state, and demonstrates leadership in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in physical therapy as accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed or registered in the state where practice.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides PT services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates appropriate portions to the licensed PT assistant.
• Instructs staff in delegated functions including precautions and re-evaluation plans.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments with short- and long-term goals for patients, with physician approval.

NHC HomeCare Sparta is looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team! The Physical Therapist supervises and participates in the application of physical therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases.

Highlights

• Full-time or part-time options available.
• Sign-on bonus: $15,000 for the full-time position only.
• The part-time position would be three days per week.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a BS or MS level course in physical therapy as accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Must be licensed or registered under the statutes of the state in which the physical therapist will be practicing.
• One year’s experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Active member of the state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.
• HCHB experience preferred.

Position Highlights

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides physical therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates appropriate portions of the treatment program to the licensed physical therapy assistant.
• Instructs the physical therapy staff in their delegated functions including precautions, special problems, contraindications, anticipated progress goals and plan for re-evaluation.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments and programs including the establishment of short-term and long-term goals for patients as approved by the physician with periodic re-evaluations.
