Software Placement Group seeks a Physical Therapist to help launch a new Reno, NV clinic. The role emphasizes true one-on-one patient care with a four-day workweek and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You'll evaluate and treat federal employee referrals (USPS, FBI, TSA, ICE, IRS, U.S. Marshals Service, BLM, Forest Service) with schedules Monday-Thursday on-site. Compensation includes full-time salary, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exclusively one-on-one physical therapy sessions with no double-booking or overlapping patients.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and build individualized treatment plans.
• Treat a broad range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries referred from federal agencies.
• Apply manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strengthening, and functional rehabilitation techniques.
• Work with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other care-team members.
• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants as applicable.
• Document care using electronic medical records with AI-assisted tools.
• Educate patients on goals, progress and injury prevention; patients typically attend thrice weekly.
• Help establish and grow Physical Therapy services at the Reno clinic.

Overview

A growing outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation practice focused on treating federal employees recovering from work-related injuries is opening a new clinic in the Reno, Nevada area and seeking a Physical Therapist to help launch and shape the clinical program from the ground up. Patients come from agencies such as USPS, FBI, TSA, ICE, IRS, U.S. Marshals Service, Bureau of Land Management, and U.S. Forest Service, and the practice emphasizes true one-on-one patient care, a four-day workweek, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team.

What you'll do

• Deliver exclusively one-on-one physical therapy sessions with no double-booking or overlapping patients
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, generally ranging from 30-90 minutes depending on complexity, and build individualized treatment plans
• Treat a broad range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries affecting workers referred from agencies including USPS, FBI, TSA, ICE, IRS, U.S. Marshals Service, Bureau of Land Management, and U.S. Forest Service
• Apply manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strengthening, and functional rehabilitation techniques during 60-minute treatment sessions
• Work directly with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the care team
• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants as applicable
• Document care during appointments using an electronic medical record system with AI-assisted documentation tools
• Educate patients on treatment goals, progress, and injury prevention, with most patients attending therapy three times per week
• Help establish and grow Physical Therapy services at the new Reno clinic

Required qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Utah or Nevada, or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills
• Comfortable providing hands-on, individualized outpatient rehabilitation care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary medical team
• Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality patient care

Compensation and benefits

• Full-Time Salary: 95,000 - 115,000 annually, depending on experience
• Part-Time Pay: 45-60/hour, depending on experience
