Physical Therapist - Outpatient
McKinney, TX

Seeking a Full-Time physical therapist with orthopedic experience and excellent manual therapy skills to join our team in McKinney. This clinic sees a variety of conditions including orthopedic diagnoses from post-op repairs to work injuries to chronic pain and vestibular disorders. Candidates should be energetic, dedicated to serving patients, possess excellent relationship-building qualities, and have a proactive attitude. Select Medical complies with state and federal wage and hour laws. Compensation depends on candidate's years of experience and internal equity. Minimum pay: $75,920.00

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at one of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, you will collaborate with a team of clinicians to help patients achieve their individual goals and milestones outlined in their care plan.

• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Patient caseload average: 10-12 patients per day
• Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data, including medical notes and surgery reports
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Instructing and counseling patients and families as needed

Qualifications

Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
