Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time role in Falls Church, VA. The position offers 30+ hours per week with compensation in the $45-$49/hour range in a senior-friendly assisted living and memory care setting.

You will assess patients, design and implement therapy plans, and educate patients and families while documenting progress and collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure or licensure eligible as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength and flexibility.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and other treatments to improve function and alleviate pain; educate patients and families on home routines.
• Maintain accurate evaluations, progress notes and treatment plans in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

• Setting: Newly remodeled Assisted Living and Memory Care facility with a tight-knit community
• Hours: 30+ hours per week for full-time
• AdditionalInformation: Facility has easy access to Route 66 and The Capital Beltway, and is located right outside of Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
