Job summary

Powerback is hiring a Physical Therapist to work in-facility and help patients recover physical function. You will assess needs, create recovery plans, and deliver therapy while collaborating with the rehab team.

You will educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and optimize outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Rehab, you contribute to a multidisciplinary care approach across settings.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in state(CT), or proof of license and eligibility.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of PT experience.
• If degree earned outside the U.S., the PT degree must be evaluated for U.S. equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans.
• Deliver physical therapy and teach patients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with peers and refer as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote ongoing recovery.

As a Physical Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy. You're a healer and a helper, and you design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities. You adapt to the needs of the patient and collaborate with peers, while also providing referrals as needed. You teach patients and caregivers the skills they need to promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications

1. Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
2. Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or
3. Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, or
4. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
5. For degrees earned outside of the U.S., the qualifying Physical Therapy degree must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.

Salary Range

USD $43.00 - $47.00 per hour.
