Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength or functional ability in various settings such as nursing homes, rehab centers, assisted living facilities, clinics, and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians and nurses to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist physicians in evaluating patient function and equipment needs.
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and determine whether therapy services should be modified.
• Assist patients with exercises and hands‑on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility.
• Educate patients and families on goals, exercises, and self‑care to ensure progress.
• Perform 2‑hour evaluations and 1‑hour patient treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist program and hold an active PT license in Maryland.
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience.
• Current CPR certification and ability to perform CPR.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion.
