Job summary

BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a full-time Acute Care Physical Therapist to join our team. The role emphasizes examinations, diagnoses, and individualized plans of care in a collaborative environment with other professionals.

Qualified candidates hold a PT degree with Texas licensure and BLS, and prefer experience in acute care settings. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document examinations and evaluations.
• Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses and plans of care.
• Formulate treatment goals.
• Provide physical therapy intervention to patients.
• Measure and report outcomes.
• Formulate and carry out discharge plans.
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students.
• Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals.
