Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in Alaska is seeking a Physical Therapist to plan and conduct medically prescribed PT programs, helping patients restore function after illness or injury and to prevent disability. You will evaluate and document patient progress using appropriate equipment and techniques.
The role is full-time with daytime hours; Alaska licensure and BLS certification are required at hire, a master's or Ph.D. is preferred, and one year of experience is desirable.
Full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.
The Physical Therapist plans and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part. Helps patients/residents reach maximum performance levels by utilizing various mechanical and electrical equipment, and prosthetic and orthotic devices. Evaluates, records, and reports patient progress.
