Job summary

Piedmont is seeking a Physical Therapist in Columbus, Georgia to provide physical therapy services to a diverse patient group. You will conduct evaluations, administer treatments, and assist patients in achieving physical independence.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a current Georgia license and experience in the field is preferred. Responsibilities also include supervising physical therapist assistants and ensuring patient care across all age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT is required.
• Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services for assigned patients.
• Conduct evaluations and treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
• Care for patients across all age groups including pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Guide and orient physical therapist assistants as necessary.

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach the highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
