Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Physical Therapist for Kindred Hospital - The Palm Beaches on a PRN basis. You’ll evaluate patients, develop treatment plans and coordinate with nursing staff to support daily progress.

You’ll document care in compliance with state and federal requirements, educate families, and maintain a safe, clean work area while following corporate standards and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient’s condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them improve over time.
• Instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs to support progress.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post charges as needed.
