Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist under the general supervision of the Manager of Hospital Based Therapy Services, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting initial patient evaluations, reassessments, and discharge summaries for diverse populations.
- Administering treatments based on evaluations and reassessments.
- Completing documentation promptly and maintaining departmental productivity standards.
- Delegating tasks appropriately to team members.
- Participating in the case management of rehabilitation services.
- Performing non-clinical tasks to support smooth daily operations.
- Engaging in one to two departmental, hospital, or community programs/meetings.
- Teaching, orienting, training, supervising, and mentoring co-workers, new employees, volunteers, and a minimum of one student annually.
Qualifications
- B.S., Master's, or DPT degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program required.
- Current Physical Therapist license for the state of Ohio required.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to problem-solve, plan, and prioritize.
- Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making while maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrates a positive and constructive attitude, initiative, dependability, cooperation, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adherence to the Code of Ethical Conduct as defined by the APTA's Code of Ethics.
- CPR certification required.
