Role Overview:

A licensed Physical Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformities. Services are provided across the care continuum with a focus on quality, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and revise treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.


• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions.


• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate ongoing care plans.


• Document evaluations, treatments, and discharge plans per departmental standards.


• Provide referrals and act as a resource for staff, families, and physicians.


• Maintain ethical practices, confidentiality, and punctuality.


• Communicate effectively with team members and participate in meetings and training.


• Ensure safe, cost-effective use of materials and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.


• Deliver excellent customer service, fostering a positive environment and applying service recovery principles.


• Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and licensure maintenance.


• Perform other duties as assigned in compliance with organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.


• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.


• Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
