Job summary

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Physical Therapist PRN to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence after illness or surgery. As a clinician you will evaluate patients, develop personalized therapy plans, deliver evidence-based interventions, and coordinate with physicians and care team to achieve meaningful outcomes.

This PRN role offers collaboration with a large national network, ongoing professional development, and opportunities to mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Texas State Board PT license (ECPTOTE).
• Experience in Acute or Inpatient Physical Therapy setting.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans with timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safe practices.
• Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth recovery transitions.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare values.

Your role will include:

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelors of Science, or higher degree from a university in Physical Therapy.
• Physical Therapy License issued by The Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy (ECPTOTE) Texas State Board
• Experience in an Acute or Inpatient Physical Therapy setting
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
