Job summary

The Springs of Jonesboro is seeking a Per Diem (PRN) Physical Therapist to join our in-house team in Jonesboro, AR. You will assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered PT care to our residents in a SNF/long-term care setting.

We value compassionate, evidence-based practice and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes. New grads are welcome to apply, and flexible scheduling is available to accommodate PRN needs.

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Arkansas license in Physical Therapy.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to assess their physical condition.
• Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results.
• Develop treatment plans using various techniques.
• Create personalized rehabilitation programs for patients.
• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Ensure treatments align with the plan of care.
• Monitor patient response and adjust approach with IDT input.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Ensure thorough documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Follow all rules, procedures and attend required meetings.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.
• Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.
• Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
• Creating personalized rehabilitation programs for patients.
• Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
• Ensure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care is provided.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.
• Complying with all rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Physical Therapist Skills:

• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.

Physical Therapist Requirements:

• Active/Valid Arkansas license in Physical Therapy
