Physical Therapist PRN

River Bend Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis in Asheville, NC. As a Physical Therapist PRN, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to our residents while enjoying a flexible scheduling arrangement.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist PRN at River Bend Health and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for evaluating residents, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to help residents improve or restore mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their highest level of physical function. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you can grow professionally and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop personalized care plans based on clinical findings and resident goals.
  • Deliver physical therapy treatments as prescribed, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility.
  • Monitor and document residents’ progress, response to treatment, and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursing, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physicians to provide holistic care.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy programs, techniques, and safety measures to support functional independence.
  • Comply with all regulatory, licensing, and facility policies including documentation and infection control standards.
