Origin in Plano, TX is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist with an interest in women’s health and pelvic floor therapy to join our care team.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, educate patients, track progress, and collaborate with clinicians to achieve meaningful outcomes. The role includes mentoring students and contributing to a supportive, growth-oriented clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in TX required.
• Interest in women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy.
• Clinical instruction of at least 1 student rotation per year.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize referral information, records, imaging, forms and history.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction via analysis and examinations.
• Develop individualized plans of care oriented to patient goals.
• Use evidence-based interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Evaluate progress and modify plans as needed.
• Educate patients about recovery expectations and coping.
• Follow up with patients to improve adherence.
• Connect with providers and local organizations to raise awareness of therapies.

About the role

Physical Therapists are responsible for supporting patient care and supporting clinic success by:

• Synthesizing pertinent information from a patient’s referral, medical records, imaging, intake forms and subjective history taking.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements and listening to patients concerns and goals.
• Using critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care for patients to include the patient’s goals and expected outcomes of the plan.
• Utilizing evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback and other modalities to achieve patients’ goals.
• Evaluating and documenting patient progress, utilizing outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed.
• Educating patients about what to expect from the recovery process and how to cope with challenges throughout the process
• Following up with patients to ensure better adherence to plan of care
• Connecting with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies provided by the clinic and ensure that as many patients as possible that need care are able to receive it.
• Clinical instruction of at least 1 student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area
• Other tasks as assigned

• Result in serving as many patients as possible who need care with high quality physical therapy at Origin
• Facilitation of care that creates meaningful outcomes (in partnership / mentorship with other PTs and/or providers as necessary)

About you

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas (experienced Physical Therapists and recent grads welcome to apply!)
• Interest in women’s health, pelvic floor physical therapy (a must!)

Bonus points

• Pelvic Floor physical therapy experience, certifications (not required, but we love it!)

Compensation

• The base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $115,000, plus bonus
