Job summary

Origin is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Texas to support women’s health and pelvic floor therapy. You’ll evaluate movement, design individualized care plans, and apply evidence-based techniques to help patients recover.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PT license or eligibility.
• Interest in women’s health and pelvic floor PT.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose movement dysfunction via posture, gait, pelvic exams, and patient goals.
• Develop individualized plans of care with patient goals and expected outcomes.
• Apply evidence-based interventions: exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback.
• Document progress and adjust plan as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients about recovery expectations and coping strategies.
• Follow up to improve adherence and outcomes.
• Coordinate with providers to expand access to care.
• Provide clinical instruction for at least one student rotation per year.
• Other tasks as assigned.

About the role

Physical Therapists are responsible for supporting patient care and supporting clinic success by:

• Synthesizing pertinent information from a patient's referral, medical records, imaging, intake forms and subjective history taking.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements and listening to patients concerns and goals.
• Using critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care for patients to include the patient's goals and expected outcomes of the plan.
• Utilizing evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback and other modalities to achieve patients' goals.
• Evaluating and documenting patient progress, utilizing outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed.
• Educating patients about what to expect from the recovery process and how to cope with challenges throughout the process
• Following up with patients to ensure better adherence to plan of care
• Connecting with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies provided by the clinic and ensure that as many patients as possible that need care are able to receive it.
• Clinical instruction of at least 1 student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area
• Other tasks as assigned

What you’ll achieve

Having a deep sense of teamwork on behalf of patient care and outcomes will:

• Result in serving as many patients as possible who need care with high quality physical therapy at Origin
• Facilitation of care that creates meaningful outcomes (in partnership / mentorship with other PTs and/or providers as necessary)

About you

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas (experienced Physical Therapists and recent grads welcome to apply!)
• Interest in women’s health, pelvic floor physical therapy (a must!)

Bonus points

• Pelvic Floor physical therapy experience, certifications (not required, but we love it!)

Compensation

• The base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $115,000, plus bonus
