Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist for an in-patient acute care position at 55 Palmer Avenue, Bronxville, NY. The role requires day-flex shifts with weekend coverage and some weekdays, and involves one-on-one therapies to restore mobility while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate in Physical Therapy and current NYS licensure; two years of acute-care experience is preferred.

Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy - Per Diem

Location Bronxville, New York

Shift: Day Flex (United States of America)

At NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. The therapist assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within their capabilities. Provide high-quality care as you communicate with physicians, referring providers, multidisciplinary staff and administrative personnel.

This is a per diem position at our in-patient acute care location 55 Palmer Avenue, Bronxville, NY. Weekend coverage Saturday/Sunday, holidays and some weekdays.

Preferred Criteria

• Two years minimum experience as a physical therapist in acute care
