About Us:

Confident Kidz at The Kidz Lounge is a dedicated pediatric therapy practice serving children from birth to age 21. We specialize in treating a wide range of diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, autism, developmental delays, and sensory processing disorders. Our services are provided in our Howard Beach clinic as well as in homes, preschools, and day care centers.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the delivery of physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with children and is comfortable providing care in both clinic and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Provide therapy services to children in our clinic

• Monitor and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner

• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members

• Maintain compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in New York State

• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required

• Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with children

• Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently in various environments
