Work Shift:

A caring health system dedicated to excellence – today and tomorrow.

Responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription, reviewing charts adequately, evaluating patients and documenting according to policy.

Education & Training:
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

Experience:
Three (3) internships/affiliations satisfactorily completed. Twelve (12) weeks of
clinical experience at a university-approved hospital.

Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current PT licensure by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy. Current
AHA/ARC BLS certification. Must obtain and maintain required ortho
education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination
Center of Excellence Policy. Must obtain and maintain required stroke
education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Primary Stroke
Center/Acute Stroke Ready Designation Policy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Utilizes a variety physical therapy equipment to include ultrasound, electrical
stimulation, whirlpool, iontophoresis, TEN's units, paraffin bath, fluidotherapy,
Biodex, biofeedback, traction, and exercise equipment.

Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
