The Valley Health System seeks a qualified Physical Therapist to evaluate functional mobility and provide treatment to maximize independence. Nevada licensure and BLS certification are required; a graduate license under supervision may be acceptable. Prior experience is not required, but preferred.

Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology care. Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from a university program satisfying the APTA academic and intern requirements for competence.

Experience:

None required, but preferred

License/Certification:

Nevada State Licensure as Registered Physical Therapist. May work as a Graduate of Physical Therapy with recognition of the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners with onsite direct supervision. (Must be in the process of licensure and practicing under a student license) Current BLS certification is required.

Other:

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
