Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate functional mobility and deliver targeted treatments to maximize independence. The role supports a busy hospital setting with a focus on evidence-based care.

The ideal candidate holds Nevada licensure, BLS, and a degree in Physical Therapy, with preferred supervision experience and a passion for patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Nevada state licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist required or in process.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Graduate eligibility to practice Physical Therapy under supervision acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of functional mobility and movement.
• Deliver goal-oriented treatment to maximize independence.

Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology care. Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from a university program satisfying the APTA academic and intern requirements for competence.

Experience

None required, but preferred

License/Certification

Nevada State Licensure as Registered Physical Therapist. May work as a Graduate of Physical Therapy with recognition of the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners with onsite direct supervision. (Must be in the process of licensure and practicing under a student license) Current BLS certification is required.

Other

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
