Job Details

The Staff Level I Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and discharge planning for all referred patients. The therapist plays a vital role in helping patients achieve their highest level of function and works collaboratively with healthcare professionals to coordinate care in line with Jefferson Health's mission, vision, and values.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Provide evaluations, treatment planning, interventions, and discharge planning across various settings including acute care, skilled facilities, rehab, and outpatient.
• Participate in student education and contribute to teaching as a novice clinician.
• Design and implement treatment programs to aid recovery and rehabilitation.
• Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to ensure safe therapeutic interventions for patients and families.
• Document patient health progress, treatments, evaluations, and discharge summaries accurately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• 0-2 years of clinical practice required; 1 year preferred.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association, BLS) required.
