PT, OT, Speech services including outpatient orthopedic, neuro, and specialty services such as Women's Health, Lymphedema, Vestibular, Ergonomics, Aquatics, Sports, Hand Therapy, TMJ, LSVT BIG, and LSVT LOUD.

Virtua Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation has free-standing facilities AND locations within the Virtua Health and Wellness Centers in Camden, Cherry Hill, Moorestown, New Hanover, Voorhees & Washington Township.

Virtua Hand Therapy Services is provided in multiple locations.

Position Summary

Provides physical therapy examination and evaluation to determine prognosis, provide intervention, and update plan of care.

Assists manager/supervisor with clinical and operational issues. Works with manager to improve processes and utilization of rehab services.

Responsibilities

• Consults with medical, ancillary professionals, and other team members/supervisors to provide optimum quality patient care and effective operations.
• Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation skills and interventions, including evaluating effectiveness and modifying plans as appropriate.
• Maintains and completes evaluations, patient records, reports, and all documentation effectively and timely, following regulatory and department guidelines.
• Utilizes PTAs, aides, and support staff appropriately.
• Communicates effectively with patients and/or families, providing education suited to their age, condition, and cultural needs.

Minimum Education and Licensure

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
• Current licensure in New Jersey.
• CPR certification.
• For home care and early intervention staff: valid driver's license, current automobile registration, and proof of insurance.
