Job Summary
Evaluates, plans, and implements treatment programs for patients based on physical therapy principles. Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide patient assessment, direct care, and tailored care plans.
Responds to physician orders, administers and interprets tests, reviews patient progress, and adjusts treatment plans accordingly. Develops functional goals aligned with patient and family expectations. Aims to restore functional mobility and independence, seeking clarification of orders as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
Preferred: Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Experience:
Preferred: 2 years of practice as a PT in healthcare settings
Certifications:
Required: State Licensure, AHA BLS
