Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando South is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Orlando South location on a PRN / Per Diem basis. The role offers a $55 per hour compensation and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with opportunities to advance within our acute care post-ICU program.

You will perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop treatment plans, supervise PTs/PTA students, document per policy, and participate in discharge planning and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, PT and PTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient responses and modify treatment during sessions.
• Complete documentation according to department policies.
• Participate in department, hospital, and community continuing education.
