Select Medical in Memphis, TN is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct patient care in a hospital-based setting inside Baptist East. This PRN/Per Diem role focuses on delivering quality PT services under the supervision of a licensed PT, with weekday coverage and opportunities to advance as openings arise.

Formación

• Valid state PTA license.
• BLS certification required by start date.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the delivery of physical therapy services including transportation, therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the physical therapist (PT).
• Assist the PT in carrying out therapeutic interventions to meet long-term patient goals, including strengthening, balance, and functional training.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, or assistive devices.
