Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Minnesota is seeking a Physical Therapist for a per diem role, with a schedule of at least one weekend per month and 1–2 holidays per year, plus opportunities to pick up weekday shifts as volume demands.

You will provide direct patient care across adolescent, adult and geriatric populations, with pediatric care for some specialties, using a variety of PT techniques to restore function and relieve pain.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school with a Doctorate, Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed with the Wisconsin Board of Physical Therapy (Specific to employees practicing in Wisconsin).
• Current BLS- American Heart Association or American Red Cross (BLS for Health Professionals).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Pediatric care required for some specialty positions.
• Apply a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with a Doctorate, Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
• Licensed with the Wisconsin Board of Physical Therapy (Specific only to employees practicing in Wisconsin)
• Current BLS- American Heart Association or American Red Cross (BLS for Health Professionals).

Preferred Qualifications

• Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a medical setting.
• Recommend membership in a related professional organization.
