HealthPartners Hutchinson Health Rehabilitation Services is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist to deliver care across inpatient, outpatient, or blended practice settings in Hutchinson, MN.

The inpatient role supports an 18-bed Med/Surg/ICU unit at a Level IV Trauma Center and Level 1 Heart Attack Center, with weekend and holiday commitments. Outpatient duties include musculoskeletal/orthopedic care, with shifts available periodically.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Board-licensed Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification required.
• Graduate from an APTA-accredited PT program.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services to patients with medical, orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and surgical conditions.
• Support inpatient care in an 18-bed Med/Surg/ICU unit and participate in weekend/holiday scheduling.
• Contribute to outpatient rehabilitation with musculoskeletal and orthopedic patients within the program.
• Collaborate with a highly collaborative rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Job description

Join the Hutchinson Health Rehabilitation Services team as a per diem Physical Therapist and enjoy the flexibility to work in inpatient, outpatient, or blended practice settings.

Our inpatient therapists provide care within an 18-bed Med/Surg/ICU unit at a Level IV Trauma Center and Level 1 Heart Attack Center, working with patients recovering from medical, orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and surgical conditions. The inpatient commitment averages at least one weekend per month and includes at least one recognized holiday per year. Additional weekday shifts may be available based on patient volumes and staffing needs.

Therapists interested in outpatient practice may support musculoskeletal and orthopedic patient populations through our outpatient rehabilitation program. The outpatient commitment includes 12 shifts per year with a minimum of four hours per shift.

This position is ideal for physical therapists seeking scheduling flexibility, a variety of clinical experiences, and the opportunity to support patient care across a highly collaborative rehabilitation team. Work Schedule:

1 weekend per month

Yearly holiday rotation

Ability to work additional weekday or weekend shifts as volume demands.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association if PT license obtained prior to January 1, 2008. Graduate from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education if PT license obtained after January 1, 2008.
• Current license as a Registered Physical Therapist is required by the Minnesota State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Current CPR certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous work experience as a staff physical therapist is desirable, but not required.
