Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or doctoral degree in physical therapy.
• Currently licensed as a physical therapist in the State of Maryland.
• One year experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven clinical skills.
• Ability to transfer, position patients and lift up to 25 lbs.; perform physical assessments, walk and climb stairs.
• Must have reliable transportation to work site.
• CPR certification required.

Physical therapists at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the autonomy to make individualized patient-centred decisions to promote optimal clinical care. This position works under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Team Leader and/or Inpatient or Outpatient Manager.

Salary Range: Minimum $55.00/hour - Maximum $55.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
