Position: Physical Therapist - Pediatrics- Marshalltown, IA

Location: 55 Unity Pt Wy SUITE 70, Marshalltown, IA 50158

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: starting at $73,000

Incentives: potential for $10,000 sign on bonus and student debt relief

Select Physical Therapy is seeking apediatric Physical Therapist to join our fun, collaborative multi-disciplinary team!

We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, visual motor deficits and more.

Responsibilities

  • High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how PTs may practice and whom they may supervise.

  • Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.

  • Leadership: Supervise and delegate physical therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.

  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and complete patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements.

  • Innovative Opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines.

  • Best Practices: Stay current and up to date with Physical Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year pediatric outpatient physical therapy experience (stong clinical rotation in pediatrics if current student finishing rotations)

  • Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited PT school

  • Valid State Physical Therapist License

  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required

Preferred Qualifcations:

  • 2 years of pediatric outpatient experience
