Job summary

Saco Bay Kids in Kennebunk, ME is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. You will evaluate and treat pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay to cerebral palsy, collaborating with physicians and other therapists to help children reach their goals.

New grads are welcome and will receive strong mentorship; opportunities for continuing education and specialty skills are available within our network.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to state Practice Act and regulations governing PT practice.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to set patient goals and determine PT plan and frequency.
• Supervise and delegate PT care within state guidelines and laws.
• Provide comprehensive, individualized treatment programs and complete documentation.
• Participate in development of new programs or procedures with manager approval.

Saco Bay Kids is seeking a pediatric Physical Therapist to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team!

Responsibilities

• High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how PTs may practice and whom they may supervise.
• Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency, and duration of physical therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
• Leadership: Supervise and delegate physical therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.
• Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and complete patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements.
