Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our school-based therapy team.

You will assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions for students, collaborating closely with educators, families, and other therapy professionals to optimize student mobility, functional independence, and participation in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations.
  • Mentor and collaborate with less-experienced team members as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active PT license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred, not required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for helping children develop mobility, independence, and functional skills.
