Overview

Pediatric physical therapist position working with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, in outpatient and inpatient settings. With experience, opportunities may be available in specialty areas, including NICU. Seeking a team-player with excellent communication skills, strong evidence-based practice, a caring attitude towards all patients and their families, and effective time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

1. Evaluations, re-evaluations, and ongoing direct patient care with children from birth to 18 years.
2. Management of a highly diverse caseload.
3. Coordination of care with other providers.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

Education: Graduate of a physical therapist program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) required. Must have a current Alabama license.

Experience: Experience in a pediatric setting preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
