St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center in New York is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to provide services to orthopedic, neurologic, and oncology patients at our DeMatteis Center location.

Responsibilities include PT assessment and treatment, education for patients and families, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and transitions.

Qualifications

• BS in Physical Therapy or Master’s in PT; DPT preferred.
• NYS Physical Therapist license.
• 1–2 years’ experience preferred.
• BLS within 60 days of hire.

Job Details

The Outpatient Physical Therapist provides outpatient services to primarily orthopedic, neurologic and oncology patients at our DeMatteis Center location.

Responsibilities will include:

• Physical Therapy assessment and treatment of patients
• Education of patients and family members
• Work with an interdisciplinary team for individualized plans of care and transition planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• NYS Physical Therapist license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• 1-2 years’ experience preferred
• BLS required within 60 days of hire

Salary Range

USD $69.45 - USD $69.45 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
