Physical Therapist Part-Time Weekends - (2500002I)
Organizes and conducts Physical Therapy program to facilitate the rehabilitation of people with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities. The Physical Therapist directs the patient’s participation in selected activities/treatments to restore, re-enforce and correct pathology to promote and/or maintain good health.
This candidate will join a dynamic team. This position will fill a weekend position to support weekend (and holiday) rotation. The schedule will be determined during the interview process and mutually agreed upon prior to hire. There are three options possible:
Primary location will be Lake West Medical Center; opportunities to float to other EAST Market UH facilities is possible. Therapist with acute care experience preferred.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Licensed by the State of Ohio to practice Physical Therapy
Requires the evaluation and treatment skills necessary to provide Physical Therapy appropriate to the developmental and chronological age of patients on caseload
Professional initiative, objectivity, good time management, and interpersonal skills. Must be physically, cognitively, and perceptually able to provide patient treatment and assist in the physical mobility of patients and equipment.
