Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist for Acute Care. The schedule includes 6pm start, Monday through Friday, with one weekend every 4 weeks and 1 summer plus 1 winter holiday.

You will assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and educate clients and caregivers. Supervise and coordinate care with the identified team members.

Qualifications

• Degree requirement: Bachelor's level or higher in Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and coordinate care with the rehabilitation team.

Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education

• Bachelor's Level Degree or Higher - Physical Therapy

Certification/Licensure

• BLS
• VA License Physical Therapy

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
