Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking a Physical Therapist to design and implement individualized treatment programs to restore and improve patients' physical functions. The role emphasizes working with patients to return to work and daily life with dignity and confidence.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality care, updating treatment plans, educating patients on home exercises, and collaborating with care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
• Knowledge of physical therapy office management systems and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outpatient experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through evaluation, planning, and implementation of individualized treatment programs.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions and physician collaboration.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and post-discharge care.
• Maintain open communication with patients, case managers, referring physicians, and care teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with requirements.
• Ensure all treatment is provided under a valid prescription and in compliance with licensing and accrediting standards.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
• Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide clinical instruction and mentorship to students as assigned.
• Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment; follow equipment procedures.
• Assist in protecting facility assets and preventing waste or misuse.
• Support facility marketing or tours as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Flexible part-time schedule available, working 3 days per week

Compensation

This is a salaried, exempt position. Compensation is based on an equivalent hourly range of $50.00–$65.00 and will be converted to an annual salary based on the selected schedule. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Requirements

• Graduate/Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active California PT license required (or license in progress)
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
• Knowledge of physical therapy office management systems and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
