**Physical Therapist (P.T.) Outpatient - Burleson**
**PRN**
· **Work location:** Texas Health Burleson, 2750 SW Wilshire Bldv., Burleson, TX 76028
· Physical Therapy Outpatient department
**Work hours:** PRN: On an as needed basis, Monday-Friday outpatient clinic; Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8AM-6PM, and Tuesday/Thursday 7AM-5PM

**Here’s What You Need**
· Bachelor’s degree completion of a Physical Therapist program required.
· Outpatient experience is helpful, but none required.
1-2 years of Physical Therapy experience **preferred**
Physical Therapist with general orthopedic background preferred
Ability to perform hands on treatment and provide rehab programs preferred
PT – Physical Therapist Texas – Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required
· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
· Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Problem-solving ability, Ability to teach others and Time management skills.
· Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills
**What You Will Do**
· Texas Health Physical Therapists are responsible for using therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.
· Performing treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license. Utilizing a variety of treatment techniques to achieve goals, if necessary, determining patient response to treatment and evaluates progress.
· Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
· Performs treatment procedures/techniques that are within the scope of the professional license.
· Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self-management and assistive equipment.
Motivate non-compliant or unmotivated patients to participate in therapy
