Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligible.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Act 34 background clearance required; Act 33 and Act 73 clearances as applicable; FBI fingerprinting.
• Master’s Degree preferred; driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition and establishes goals and plan of care involving patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques appropriate for patient age and condition.
• Completes documentation to comply with department, hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participates in departmental initiatives for operational improvement, including committees and educational offerings.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard, and possibly specialized, physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
