Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics in Salem, OR is seeking a part-time physical therapist to join the Outpatient Rehabilitation team. You will evaluate patients with women's health, cancer-related and orthopedic conditions using evidence-based treatments to develop personalized therapy plans.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Women's health interest preferred; clinical experience in outpatient rehab is a plus.

Location:Salem Health Hospital, Main Campus, 890 Oak Street SE, Salem, OR 97301
Department:Outpatient Rehabilitation
Position Type:Part Time, 30 hours/weekly, Non-Exempt
Schedule:8:00 am - 6:30 pm, three 10-hour shifts, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Your role with us

As a physical therapist, you'll play a key role in patient care by using evidence-based treatments to help individuals with a variety of women's health, cancer-related and orthopedic conditions, in a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting. You'll be part of a team that collaborates to create personalized therapy plans aimed at improving overall functional ability.

What you'll do

• Provide thorough, evidence-based evaluations and create individualized treatment plans tailored to outpatient functional goals.
• Deliver goal-oriented interventions focused on neuromuscular rehabilitation, upper extremity function, cognitive and perceptual retraining.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary group of providers - Including PT, Speech, physicians, and care coordinators to support comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, strategies, and resources to promote long-term success and self-management.
• Document clearly and communicate professionally to support smooth patient flow, team collaboration, and high-quality outcomes.

Required qualifications

• Holds a valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.

Additional information

• Women's health interest preferred. Case load will be a mix of women's health, musculoskeletal and lymphedema diagnoses.
• Successful candidate will have clinical experience in the practice setting.
