RN.com is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Kilmarnock, VA. The ideal candidate will provide outpatient services primarily for geriatric patients with orthopedic and neuro conditions. Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing (VA license accepted).
• BLS certification required.
• SSN and DOB needed for contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services.
• Work with geriatric patient population and orthopedic/neuro conditions.
• Coordinate care collaboratively with onsite staff.

Job description

PT needed for 13 weeks in Kimarnock, VA with an asap start date.
Travel candidates only (Must be 50 miles outside of facility)
Dysrhythmia NOT exam needed
Open to temp to perm
Experience preferred, but will consider new grads
8-hour DAY shifts M-F (likely able to pick up a weekend shift at the hospital if wanting a weekday off)
BLS and VA license required
Unit Specific Details
Outpatient facility (43 William B. Graham Court Kilmarnock, VA) attached to hospital
Cyrotherapy, Heating pads, Antigravity devices, TENS units, Parallel Bars - Equipment consistent with outpatient setting
Experienced staff including: Full time PT, Supervisor, OT, Speech therapist and Rehab tech onsite
Patient Pop: Geriatric Ambulatory Outpatient Orthopedics and Neuro mainly including joint replacements, post stroke, balance, etc.
