Job summary

Mad River Community Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for its outpatient clinics in Arcata and Willow Creek, Mad River Rehab & Sports Medicine. If you love outdoor activities and balance work life with play, this is the place for you!

You will work as part of a team to assess and treat acute and chronically ill patients, maintain high standards of care, and collaborate with peers, managers, and staff. Employment is contingent upon a post‑offer background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with certificate, BS, MS or DPT.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Current BLS certification.
• High level of organizational skills with keen mental faculties to perform assessment and decision making skills in the management of acute and chronically ill patients.
• Maturity and emotional stability; ability to handle fast-paced physical activity, rapidly changing conditions, and maintain effective working relations with peers, managers, patients and others
• Effective communication and comprehension skills.
