UC San Diego Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver patient services, evaluate and treat routine cases, and document all care in the medical record. You will coordinate with the care continuum and participate in program development aligned with UCSD Health core values.

The role requires CA PT licensure, outpatient experience, and a commitment to professional growth. Must be able to work across multiple sites and schedules as needed.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy and be eligible for California registration.
• Current California Physical Therapist license.
• Experience in outpatient settings.

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for Physical Therapy patient service delivery including evaluation and treatment of routine patients. Completes required documentation and communicates patient information across the continuum of care. Participates in training and program development, represents the department to the medical and general community. Demonstratescompetence in the UCSD Health core values.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy approved by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, eligibility for registration by the National Registry of the American Physical Therapy Association.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
• Physical Therapist (PT) license issued by the state of California.
• Prior experience in an outpatient setting.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

• Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
• May flex and float between sites as needed.
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical..

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $141,211 - $156,579 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $67.63 - $74.99

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
