Physical Therapist (Ortho), Outpatient Clinic

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
  2. Practice in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
  3. Educate patients, families, and others.
  4. Direct and supervise support personnel.
  5. Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently.
  6. Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  7. Develop and revise treatment plans based on patient progress and discharge planning.
  8. Ensure documentation is complete, timely, and compliant with guidelines.
  9. Orient, train, and mentor therapy and healthcare students.
  10. Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities.
  11. Complete additional department, organization, or network activities as per objectives.
  12. Uphold organizational values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

Qualifications:

  1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  2. Licensed and in good standing as a physical therapist in Rhode Island.
  3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
