Physical Therapists are movement experts who improve quality of life through hands-on care, patient education and prescribed movement. Our Physical therapist work as a team with physical therapy assistants to treat people of all ages and abilities. In this position with Presbyterian’s Outpatient rehabilitation department gives clinicians the opportunity to treat a variety of patients and the ability to work with a group of therapist that have a range in specialties. The Outpatient rehabilitation team is collaborative and patient-focused. We place a strong emphasis on providing orientation and mentorship in order to ensure the well-being and success of our new team members. The Presbyterian Healthcare Services Las Estancias facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a modern medical center designed to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a welcoming and efficient environment. Located at 3630 Las Estancias Dr SW, the building houses multiple departments, including primary care, urgent care, rehabilitation, and physical therapy and is a 20 minute drive from downtown Albuquerque.
The facility at Las Estancias is spacious and well-equipped, featuring therapy rooms, private patient treatment areas, and advanced rehabilitation equipment. It is part of the Presbyterian Medical Group, ensuring care and collaboration among healthcare professionals. The building is conveniently located near Coors Boulevard, making it easily accessible for both patients and staff. Designed with comfort, functionality, and a healing environment in mind. It features natural lighting from skylights and full-height windows, creating a bright and calming atmosphere. The color and material palette is influenced by the rich culture of the Albuquerque South Valley, adding a local touch to the space. The facility offers dedicated break areas, ensuring a comfortable space to recharge during shifts. There is also a community room, which promotes engagement and provides resources for both staff and patients. The layout is designed for efficiency and flexibility.

Responsibilities
Evaluates patients, develops plans and goals, and implements treatment programs for improvement of physical or developmental dysfunction and independence in activities of daily living.
Continuously reassesses treatment plans and goals.
Educates and instructs regarding home programs and preventive measures as appropriate to patient, family, and others.
Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department in a timely manner.
Communicates with patient, family, physician, and other healthcare providers regarding patient care.
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Participates in educational programs and inservices and other meetings as required. Participates on special project teams and other related duties as assigned and requested
Qualifications
Less than one year of experience in physical therapy.
New graduates are encouraged to apply

Bachelor's degree required.
Doctor Of Physical Therapy Preferred.
NM License of Physical Therapy required.
BLS required at time of hire.
