Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure in Maryland, DC, and/or Virginia as required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.

Job description

Provide comprehensive physical therapy services, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, discharge planning, and documentation across various settings.

Conduct evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing assessments, and explaining findings to patients and families, involving them in goal setting.

Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation outcomes, monitor patient progress, and modify plans as needed, consulting with other healthcare professionals.

Complete discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including evaluations, progress notes, and summaries.

Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations, demonstrate flexibility, empathy, and professionalism to ensure seamless patient access to care.

Engage in continuing education, serve as a clinical instructor, and assist with onboarding and mentoring staff, students, and volunteers.

Qualifications and Skills:
