Job summary

Texas Physical Therapy Specialists, a member of the Confluent Health family and in partnership with Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio (SMASA), provides outpatient sports medicine care in San Antonio. You will collaborate with physicians and support athletes from high school to professional levels, gaining exposure to performance-based rehab and strong clinician mentorship.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess movement dysfunction via history and exam and apply clinical reasoning.
• Develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care aligned with patient goals.
• Deliver interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Track outcomes and adjust approaches based on progress.
• Advocate for patients throughout recovery.

Responsibilities

• Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
• Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
• Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
• Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
• Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice).
• Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care.

About

Compensation: $80K-99K + Sign On Bonus of up to $10K + weekly bonus based on patient volume up to an additional ~$13k per year + PRN pay for Saturday Clinics making an additional ~$2k or more per year, and virtually unlimited CEUs! Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
